20 years after our Calibration laboratory was founded, after being initially accredited as a SIT centre, and later as LAT centre no. 142, we have reached a turning point in our history, and we would like to share it with you.
For a long time we have invested in expanding our know-how and optimising our working processes, broadening our calibration range, aiming at providing full-scale services, and most importantly, trying not to lose the craftsmanship that distinguishes our relation with our customers and allows our products to be tailored to your specific needs.
We now believe that the time has come for us to make a step further and start a new expansion path, which hopefully will allow us to establish our presence on a global scale. The time has come for us to become aware of the road we have travelled thus far, and acknowledge our work and the values we promote.
Registering the SDM trade mark in the EU Trade Mark Registry is a demonstration of this awareness, and at the same time it is the start of an important change; it recognises what we have done thus far and symbolises SDM’s forward-looking approach; it is the first step of a new route that is taking shape before our eyes as we move forward.
As mentioned above, we are starting an internationalisation process with the objective of dealing with new markets and broadening our horizons. Given this new challenge, we redistributed the roles within our staff, promoting more growth in the Quality division and updating our communication tools in order to be available on several channels; no less importantly, we decided to take part (for the first time as exhibitors) in the Control trade show, the most important European show in the Metrology and Quality Assurance fields, which will be held in Stuttgart on 3 to 6 May 2022.
This time is buzzing with new plans and encourages us to do our best. We hope to become increasingly competent partners for you to rely on for the management of your equipment!
